My original paintings on art-boards gets carefully wrapped in recycled bubble wrap and packaged using recycled sturdy cardboard boxes.

Print quality and details:

All prints are printed on demand by a local Blue Mountains fine art reproduction company called Cottontail Press. All reproductions are fine art prints, also called Giclee prints, and have been professionally photographed, colour checked (to get the colours as close to the original as possible) and printed on archival museum graded paper.

How to care for your print or original?

Unpacking a print or an original on paper: If you are getting your print or original professionally framed, you do not need to do anything - delivering the print in the original packing is the safest way to transport it.

If you are framing yourself, keep these few tips in mind while unpacking.

  • Prepare a flat and smooth surface free of dirt and dust.

  • Wash your hands to get any dirt off before handling the print.

  • Take the print out of the tube. Start at the edges closest to you, and keep the tissue paper on the print while unrolling the print.

  • Place the print, image side up, on a clean, flat surface.

  • Leave the tissue paper on the image and place a few heavy (and clean) objects on the corners of the print. Let the print sit for a few hours.

  • Remove the heavy objects, and start framing. If the print is still not flat, place the heavy objects back on and let it sit for another couple of hours.

Keep away from excessive sunlight or excessive heat: All of my prints and originals have been varnished with a UV protective varnish which helps the prints and original paintings to keep their colour and not fade in sunlight. However, it is strongly recommended to frame your original paintings (if they are on paper) and prints to further protect them.

My resin artworks have extra protections as they have been varnished as well as having multiple layers of resin applied. The resin I use is UV stabilised, meaning it does not react with sunlight. My resin artworks can get dusty which can show up on the otherwise shiny surface. To clean, use a very soft, clean and dry cloth and gently clean the dust away.
